Absolutely, you can grill or smoke with a Kamado grill in the winter. We have tested Kamado grills in temperatures down to -30 F and the grill faired out flawlessly. Do to the ceramic design Kamado grills retain heat better than other grills. If you have the itch and are not a fair weathered griller, a Kamado grill is perfect for the dead of winter grilling or smoking. Don’t let the outside temperature get you down. We just recommend allowing additional time to bring your fire up to temperature.
