The Alturi 36" Grill Liner (GL-36) is what makes it safe and code-compliant to install the Alturi 36" built-in grill into an island framed with combustible material — wood studs, composite cabinetry, or any custom build that is not solid masonry.

Constructed from double-lined #304 stainless steel, the liner creates a thermal barrier between the appliance chassis and the surrounding structure. The double-wall construction is the working part: it traps an air gap that does the insulating, rather than simply putting one sheet of steel between the heat and the framing.
