The Alturi Power Burner (ALTPB2) is the heavy-output burner in the Alturi line — a dual-ring stainless steel burner built for stock pots, seafood boils, deep cast iron and anything that needs to reach a rolling boil rather than a polite simmer. Made from #304 stainless steel by American Made Grills, and part of the same side and power burners family as the ALTSB2.

The dual-ring layout is the point of a power burner. An inner and outer ring firing together spread heat across the whole base of a wide pot instead of concentrating it in a coin at the center, which is what stops a 40-quart pot from scorching in the middle while the edges sit cold.

This is the appliance that decides whether a crawfish boil, a turkey fry or a batch of stock happens outside or takes over the indoor range. It also earns its keep in ordinary weeks — a wok, a paella pan and a large stockpot are all things a standard side burner cannot really drive.

A stainless protective lid closes over the burner between uses, and the LED-illuminated control panel matches the rest of the Alturi range for night cooking. Available in natural gas or liquid propane, with the GL-APB2 insulating liner available for combustible-framed islands.
