The Hybrid 54" Grill Liner (GL-AMG54) is what makes it legal and safe to drop a 54" Encore, Muscle or Ovation hybrid grill into an island framed with combustible material — wood studs, composite cabinetry, or any custom build that is not solid masonry. Designed specifically for the 54" hybrid chassis shared by the Encore, Muscle and Ovation grills.

Constructed from double-lined #304 stainless steel, the liner creates a thermal barrier between the appliance chassis and the surrounding structure. The double-wall construction is the point: it traps an air gap that does the actual insulating work, rather than simply putting one sheet of steel between the heat and the framing.

At 54 inches this is the largest liner AMG makes, and the installation where it matters most. Eight burners and a full-width charcoal bed put more sustained heat into the island than any other appliance in the AMG range, across a span wide enough that the framing has no chance to shed it sideways. Skipping the liner here is the single most expensive shortcut available on a hybrid build.
