Le Griddle Stainless Lid for 40 Series Griddles — OMLLID40

The OMLLID40 is the stainless hood for 40 Series Le Griddle griddles — the GEE40, GFE40 and OML40. A lid on a griddle is not just weather protection: closing it turns a flat top into a low oven, which is how you melt cheese properly, steam onions, or hold a batch warm while the next one cooks.

It is 304 stainless steel, made in the USA, and ships complete with the lid, handle and mounting hardware — no separate handle kit to chase down. Left closed between cooks it keeps rain, leaves and pollen off a seasoned cooking surface, which saves a lot of re-seasoning over a season.

One installation number matters: with the lid fitted and fully open, you need 24" of clearance measured from the front of the griddle cabinet to the back of the lid.
