The Alturi 30" Rotisserie Kit (ROTKIT-ALT30-A) is the model-specific spit assembly for the Alturi 30" grill. It pairs with the grill's infrared back burner, which is the half of the system already built into the hood — this kit supplies the other half.

The kit includes a weather-protected stainless steel motor and a spit rod and fork set. Weather protection on the motor is not a detail: it is the component that lives outside, gets rained on and is the usual failure point on cheaper rotisserie hardware.

On the 30" grill the spit spans two burners, so the usual technique is to turn the mains off entirely and let the infrared back burner do the work while the drip pan sits underneath. A chicken or a small leg of lamb is the natural load.

Rotisserie cooking is self-basting by design — the meat turns through its own rendered fat rather than sitting in it, which is why a rotisserie chicken has skin a roasting pan cannot match.
