American Outdoor Grills Cover Compatibility Guide

American Outdoor Grill (AOG) cover selection starts with 24-, 30- or 36-inch grill size and whether the grill is built into an island or mounted on a cart. AOB and AOC part numbers describe different configurations.

Use the current Northwoods Grills cover listings below to narrow your selection. Model numbers, accessories and generation changes matter; entries that call for confirmation should be checked before purchase. Updated October 12, 2026.

AOB and AOC are different cover families

Our built-in cover listings use AOB24, AOB30 and AOB36. The matching cart listings use AOC24, AOC30 and AOC36. Read the third letter before ordering: a cart cover and a built-in head cover have different coverage.

Have the exact grill and cart model ready, including the series and generation. Follow the cover's instructions for shelf position; do not force the cover over shelves left in a position it was not designed to accommodate. Post-mounted grills and custom bases need a separate fit check.

The AOB2SB listing is for the AOG double side burner. It is separate from the grill cover.

How to confirm your cover fit

  1. Find the model and serial label on your grill or appliance.
  2. Confirm the series, nominal size and built-in or cart configuration.
  3. For a cart, identify shelves, attached burners and the cart model; for an island, check protruding hood and countertop features.
  4. Match the complete cover listing. If the model is absent or the setup is custom, send us photos before ordering.

Common American Outdoor Grills cover questions

Can I choose a cover by width alone?

No. Nominal grill size is not a complete cover measurement. The hood shape, control panel, cart and accessories can change the fit.

Will the same cover fit another brand?

These listings do not establish cross-brand compatibility. Choose the cover listed for your appliance or request a fit check.

What if my model is not shown?

Send the full model number, a front and side photo, and details of the cart or island. We can help check the correct cover before you buy.

When should I put the cover on?

Allow the appliance to cool completely and follow its care instructions. Let the appliance and cover dry when possible, and check periodically for trapped moisture.
