Frequently Asked Questions
What cutout does the AXE-DDC need?
29 3/8 inches wide by 18 5/8 inches high.
That is one opening for the whole combo, not two openings side by side.
How is the 32-inch face laid out?
Three drawers on the right and a door on the left. The door is left-hinged, so it swings away from the drawer stack.
What kind of soft-close hardware does it use?
German engineered soft-close hardware. Alfresco specifies it for the feel of the action and for reduced stress on the moving parts over time.
Do the drawers open all the way out?
Yes. They ride on heavy-duty full-extension slides, so the back of each drawer clears the island face and you can see what is in it without groping around.
How is the door constructed?
Double-walled, with multiple mounting options so it can be fitted to different island builds rather than one specific framing method.
What is the unit made of?
304 stainless steel, stamped with the Alfresco logo.
Why buy a combo instead of a separate door and a drawer stack?
One component and one cutout instead of two. A single 29 3/8 by 18 5/8 opening gives you both storage types, which is less framing work and keeps the island face aligned. Compare the other door and drawer combos if you are still planning the layout.

I absolutely love my Coyote gas grill! The quality is excellent, it looks beautiful, and I’m very happy with my purchase.
I also want to give a special thank you to Ryan at Northwoods Grills. He was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. Before my grill even arrived, he took the time to help me with measurements and answered all of my questions to make sure everything would fit properly. He was always very attentive, patient, friendly, and easy to communicate with. His customer service really made a difference and made the whole experience so much easier for me.
It’s not often that you receive this level of personal attention and customer service. I truly appreciate all of Ryan’s help and would absolutely recommend Northwoods Grills. Great product and outstanding customer service!

Best pricing available for the product (checked all other on line retailers), and Ryan provided excellent responsiveness during the sales process. Loved dealing directly with the owner vs a sales person.
Delivery was completed within a week of the order and Ryan stayed in touch with consistent follow-up to ensure the products met my expectations.
Will recommend to friends / others looking for a high-end built in grill and matching cabinets.
