Le Griddle Pro Series 40 Matte Black Front Panel — OML40BLKPNL
The OML40BLKPNL replaces the stainless fascia on a Pro Series 40 with matte black. It mounts behind the control knobs, so the result reads as a factory finish rather than a panel stuck on the front.
On the smallest Le Griddle built-in this matters more than you would expect. The 40 is only about 15 inches of cooking surface, so the control face is a large share of what you actually see. In a dark island a bright stainless band at that proportion is the first thing your eye lands on; in matte black the griddle reads as a single dark rectangle and the countertop keeps the attention.
It fits the OML40P3 and is a finish part only — nothing changes about how the griddle cooks, and the backlit knobs, halogen lights and LED projection all work exactly as before. See what it fits in our built-in griddles, or the rest of the range in grilling accessories.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which model does this panel fit?
The OML40BLKPNL fits the Pro Series 40, model OML40P3. It is sized for that single griddle, so confirm your model designation before ordering rather than going by cabinet width.
Is the difference actually noticeable on a griddle this small?
More than you would expect. The 40 is only about 15 inches of cooking surface, so the control face is a large share of what you actually see.
In a dark island a bright stainless band at that proportion is the first thing your eye lands on. In matte black the griddle reads as a single dark rectangle and the countertop keeps the attention.
Does swapping the fascia affect the burner or the lighting?
It does not. This is a finish part, so nothing changes about how the griddle cooks and the backlit knobs, halogen lights and LED projection all work exactly as before.
How does it attach?
It mounts behind the control knobs, taking the place of the stainless fascia. The result looks like the finish the griddle shipped with instead of a panel stuck on the front.
What comes in the box?
The front panel only, with the griddle sold separately. You can see the units it goes on in our built-in griddles range.
Let customers speak for us
I absolutely love my Coyote gas grill! The quality is excellent, it looks beautiful, and I’m very happy with my purchase.
I also want to give a special thank you to Ryan at Northwoods Grills. He was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. Before my grill even arrived, he took the time to help me with measurements and answered all of my questions to make sure everything would fit properly. He was always very attentive, patient, friendly, and easy to communicate with. His customer service really made a difference and made the whole experience so much easier for me.
It’s not often that you receive this level of personal attention and customer service. I truly appreciate all of Ryan’s help and would absolutely recommend Northwoods Grills. Great product and outstanding customer service!

Best pricing available for the product (checked all other on line retailers), and Ryan provided excellent responsiveness during the sales process. Loved dealing directly with the owner vs a sales person.
Delivery was completed within a week of the order and Ryan stayed in touch with consistent follow-up to ensure the products met my expectations.
Will recommend to friends / others looking for a high-end built in grill and matching cabinets.

I was caught in a bind with a DIFFERENT provider, and Ryan was able to get me exactly what I needed, he reached out to the manufacturer for me to confirm specs and had my shipment mailed out same day. If you’re in the market for any outdoor kitchen needs, look no further than Northwoods!
