RCS is proud to provide the industry’s most comprehensive warranty.
All RCS American Renaissance Grills, Cutlass Pro Series Grills and Cutlass Pro Series side burners, sinks, briquette trays, as well as ALL doors and drawers are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for the lifetime of the original owner.
All RCS Premier Series Grills and Premier Series Side Burners are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for 15 years to the original owner.
All RCS Refrigeration products are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for 7 years to the original owner.
All other products carry a one-year warranty to the original owner.
This RCS warranty is effective for product sales beginning April 14th, 2025.

This warranty excludes normal surface corrosion, discoloration, surface scratches and surface rust which may occur. Improper maintenance, salt spray, chemicals, pesticides will affect the look and integrity of the components of these products. RCS will not be responsible for any damage caused as a result of not following owner’s manual instructions. This non-transferrable warranty is limited to the replacement of original (one-time) defective parts, does not include shipping and labor to remove or install replacement parts, if necessary. The owner must retain and submit their original receipt with any warranty claim to receive warranty parts. The warranty applies to the original owner only. What cutout does the VDP1 need?
The opening is 30-1/2" wide by 21" deep by 19-1/2" high. Frame it before the island is finished, since a pantry cabinet has a body that has to slide into the opening.
How much room is inside?
With the shelf out, the interior measures 26-1/4" wide by 15-15/16" high by 18-3/4" deep. Use those numbers rather than the cutout when you are working out what will actually fit.
Does it come with a shelf?
Yes, an interior shelf is included. Adding it splits the 15-15/16" of interior height into two usable levels, which suits smaller items better than one deep cavity.
Is it sealed from the island cavity?
It is a fully enclosed double-door cabinet, so dry goods, cookware and supplies sit in a closed box rather than in the open island. That is the difference between a pantry and an access door.
What is it made of?
Double-lined 304 stainless steel, which is what lets it stay outdoors year round without the interior deteriorating.
Why choose this over a plain double access door?
The VDD1SC double door uses the same 30-1/2" cutout width but is a facade over whatever cavity your island has. The VDP1 brings its own enclosed, shelved box.
If the space behind the opening is masonry, unfinished, or shared with utilities, the pantry gives you storage you can actually use. Other enclosed options sit in grill cabinets.
