Frequently Asked Questions
Is this one door or a pair?
A single vertical door, 18" wide by 22" high by 1.75" deep. It is the size to use when the island bay is too narrow for a double door.
Can it open from either side?
Yes. The door mounts reversibly, so you decide at install whether the hinge sits left or right. That flexibility is worth planning around if the island layout is not final.
What are the cutout dimensions?
14.375" wide by 19.5" high. Build to those and the door mounts flush into the island face.
Why is it called a hidden hinge?
The hinge is concealed behind the panel, so the front reads as a flat stainless face with nothing sticking out along the edge.
What stops the door from swinging open?
A magnetic latch, with heavy-duty flanges anchoring the frame in the opening.
What grade of stainless is the door?
#304 stainless steel, weather and rust resistant, which is the grade you want on a door that lives outdoors year round.
What does an access door like this get used for?
Reaching storage, gas lines and utilities beneath a grill island. Pair it with matching TrueFlame drawers if the same run also needs drawer storage.
Let customers speak for us
I absolutely love my Coyote gas grill! The quality is excellent, it looks beautiful, and I’m very happy with my purchase.
I also want to give a special thank you to Ryan at Northwoods Grills. He was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. Before my grill even arrived, he took the time to help me with measurements and answered all of my questions to make sure everything would fit properly. He was always very attentive, patient, friendly, and easy to communicate with. His customer service really made a difference and made the whole experience so much easier for me.
It’s not often that you receive this level of personal attention and customer service. I truly appreciate all of Ryan’s help and would absolutely recommend Northwoods Grills. Great product and outstanding customer service!

Best pricing available for the product (checked all other on line retailers), and Ryan provided excellent responsiveness during the sales process. Loved dealing directly with the owner vs a sales person.
Delivery was completed within a week of the order and Ryan stayed in touch with consistent follow-up to ensure the products met my expectations.
Will recommend to friends / others looking for a high-end built in grill and matching cabinets.
