Frequently Asked Questions
How wide an island opening does this 42-inch combo need?
40" and up. The unit is 42" wide by 22" high by 20.5" deep, and it mounts flush into a 40"W x 20 1/2"D x 19 3/8"H cutout.
Is the cutout the same depth as the smaller combos?
The depth and height match the rest of the horizontal combo line at 20 1/2" deep and 19 3/8" high — only the width changes at 40". That makes it straightforward to swap sizes late in a design as long as the island run is wide enough.
What is in the drawer section?
Two soft-close drawers riding heavy-duty full-extension ball-bearing tracks, next to the access door.
Which side does the access door open?
It is right-hinged, so leave clear space to the left of the door.
What can I reach through the door?
Gas connections, power and the storage volume inside the island.
How does the front look with the door closed?
Flat. The hingeless-look design and modern handle keep hardware off the face, and the unit sits flush against the island.
Will it hold up outdoors?
It is 304 stainless steel, the weather-resistant grade TrueFlame builds this line from, and the surfaces wipe clean.
Let customers speak for us
I absolutely love my Coyote gas grill! The quality is excellent, it looks beautiful, and I’m very happy with my purchase.
I also want to give a special thank you to Ryan at Northwoods Grills. He was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. Before my grill even arrived, he took the time to help me with measurements and answered all of my questions to make sure everything would fit properly. He was always very attentive, patient, friendly, and easy to communicate with. His customer service really made a difference and made the whole experience so much easier for me.
It’s not often that you receive this level of personal attention and customer service. I truly appreciate all of Ryan’s help and would absolutely recommend Northwoods Grills. Great product and outstanding customer service!

Best pricing available for the product (checked all other on line retailers), and Ryan provided excellent responsiveness during the sales process. Loved dealing directly with the owner vs a sales person.
Delivery was completed within a week of the order and Ryan stayed in touch with consistent follow-up to ensure the products met my expectations.
Will recommend to friends / others looking for a high-end built in grill and matching cabinets.

I was caught in a bind with a DIFFERENT provider, and Ryan was able to get me exactly what I needed, he reached out to the manufacturer for me to confirm specs and had my shipment mailed out same day. If you’re in the market for any outdoor kitchen needs, look no further than Northwoods!
