This is the Alfresco wind guard, model AWS-30, a 30-3/4" wide commercial-quality 304 stainless steel shield made for Alfresco's 30-inch ALXE built-in grills.

The model is AWS-30 and it is listed for Alfresco's 30-inch ALXE built-in grills. Check the model designation on your grill before ordering. Alfresco makes the same guard in 36-3/4", 42-3/4" and 56-3/4" widths for its wider grills, and there is a separate version for the 30-inch freestanding cart model, so width alone will not tell you which one you need.

No island cutout is involved. The guard installs under the bottom ring perimeter of the grill rather than into the counter, and Alfresco's installation sheet specifies a maximum 3-inch opening height and 1-inch clearance, so the space beneath your grill is what to check. Who This Model Is Best For

This is for a 30-inch ALXE owner whose grill sits somewhere genuinely exposed: a coastal patio, a rooftop, or an island with open sides and nothing upwind of it. If your grill is tucked against a wall or in a sheltered courtyard, you will not notice the difference.
