What are the cutout dimensions for the C3C34?
The island opening needs to be 31" wide x 10 1/4" high x 20 1/2" deep. Frame to those numbers, not to the 34-inch grill size in the name.
The grill body overhangs the opening on all sides and carries its weight on the counter surface around it.
How many burners are there?
Three main burners across the cooking surface. There is no rear or back burner on this model.
How much primary cooking area do you get?
824 square inches. That is roughly a hundred and fifty square inches more usable surface than Coyote's 30-inch C-Series, which is the practical reason to step up to this width.
Is it available in natural gas?
Yes. The C3C34 is built in both natural gas and propane, and the listed model here is the C3C34NG natural gas configuration.
The gas type is fixed at manufacture. Check the model code on your order matches the supply you are plumbing to.
Can I add a rotisserie?
A rotisserie kit is a separate purchase on the C-Series 34, not an included item, and this model has no rear burner behind the grates.
Does it have grill lights?
Internal lights are fitted, so the cooking surface is lit when the hood is up.
What does it weigh?
135 pounds. Plan the island framing to carry that at the edges of the cutout, particularly if you are building in wood rather than block.
Does the hood have spring assist?
No. This hood is raised and lowered by hand. Coyote fits spring-assisted hoods on the CL and SL series instead.
What is the body made from?
304 stainless steel, used for the body and the components, which is why it holds up to weather and cleaning better than lower grades.
Should I get the 30-inch or the 34-inch C-Series?
Both run three burners and the same 20 1/2" cutout depth, so the decision is width and cooking area. The C-Series 30" needs only a 25-inch opening, which matters on a short island run.
If you regularly cook for a crowd, the 34 gives you the larger grate. If your island is tight, the 30 leaves you more counter.
Is there a cart version of this grill?
Yes. The C-Series 34" freestanding cart grill puts the same 34-inch C-Series on a rolling cart with storage doors, so you can skip the island entirely.
