RCS is proud to provide the industry’s most comprehensive warranty.
All RCS American Renaissance Grills, Cutlass Pro Series Grills and Cutlass Pro Series side burners, sinks, briquette trays, as well as ALL doors and drawers are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for the lifetime of the original owner.
All RCS Premier Series Grills and Premier Series Side Burners are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for 15 years to the original owner.
All RCS Refrigeration products are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for 7 years to the original owner.
All other products carry a one-year warranty to the original owner.
This RCS warranty is effective for product sales beginning April 14th, 2025.

This warranty excludes normal surface corrosion, discoloration, surface scratches and surface rust which may occur. Improper maintenance, salt spray, chemicals, pesticides will affect the look and integrity of the components of these products. RCS will not be responsible for any damage caused as a result of not following owner’s manual instructions. This non-transferrable warranty is limited to the replacement of original (one-time) defective parts, does not include shipping and labor to remove or install replacement parts, if necessary. The owner must retain and submit their original receipt with any warranty claim to receive warranty parts. The warranty applies to the original owner only. Frequently Asked Questions
What cut-out does the LJRJC40 require?
40-1/2 in. wide by 22 in. deep by 9-1/4 in. high. Build the island opening to that and the grill head drops into the jacket rather than into bare framing.
Which grills is it matched to?
The 40" Premier Series built-in grill heads, meaning the RJC40A and RJC40AL. It is designed for those two models only, so a different size Premier head needs its own liner.
Do I need a liner at all?
You do if the island or cabinet is built from combustible materials. In that case the jacket is a required safety component that puts a heat barrier between the firebox and the surrounding structure.

What is the jacket made from?
Double-lined 304 stainless steel. The double lining is what carries the heat resistance, and the 304 grade is what handles years of outdoor exposure.
Will the install still look finished?
Yes. Because the liner is cut to the 40" Premier grill opening, the grill sits in it flush and the result reads as a factory-finished built-in rather than a lined hole.
Can I use it with a 32" or 26" Premier grill?
No. The 40-1/2 in. opening is specific to the 40" heads, and the smaller Premier grills use their own liners sized to their own cutouts.
Does the liner change the size of the hole I frame?
Frame to the liner's cut-out, not to the grill head's bare dimensions. The 40-1/2 in. by 22 in. by 9-1/4 in. figure already accounts for the jacket sitting between the grill and the island. Shop matching heads in 40-inch built-in grills.
