RCS is proud to provide the industry’s most comprehensive warranty.
All RCS American Renaissance Grills, Cutlass Pro Series Grills and Cutlass Pro Series side burners, sinks, briquette trays, as well as ALL doors and drawers are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for the lifetime of the original owner.
All RCS Premier Series Grills and Premier Series Side Burners are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for 15 years to the original owner.
All RCS Refrigeration products are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for 7 years to the original owner.
All other products carry a one-year warranty to the original owner.
This RCS warranty is effective for product sales beginning April 14th, 2025.

This warranty excludes normal surface corrosion, discoloration, surface scratches and surface rust which may occur. Improper maintenance, salt spray, chemicals, pesticides will affect the look and integrity of the components of these products. RCS will not be responsible for any damage caused as a result of not following owner’s manual instructions. This non-transferrable warranty is limited to the replacement of original (one-time) defective parts, does not include shipping and labor to remove or install replacement parts, if necessary. The owner must retain and submit their original receipt with any warranty claim to receive warranty parts. The warranty applies to the original owner only. The RCS 40" Premier Built-In Grill (RJC40A) delivers premium grilling performance at an exceptional value. Constructed from high-quality stainless steel, this grill offers durability and reliability for all your outdoor cooking needs. Featuring five stainless steel tube burners and a ceramic infrared back burner, the Premier Series provides a total cooking power of 72,000 BTUs.
Designed for convenience, the grill includes Sure-Strike ignition with manual flash tubes, oversized control knobs for easy adjustments, and a full-width slide-out drip tray for hassle-free cleaning. Stainless steel cooking grids and warming racks ensure even heat distribution, while briquette flavor grids enhance the smoky taste of your food. Additionally, the fuel type is field convertible, allowing you to switch between natural gas (NG) and propane (LP) as needed.

How big an opening does the RJC40A need?
37 3/4" wide by 21" deep by 8 1/4" high. The head measures 40" wide by 21" deep by 8 1/4" high overall, so the island opening is a little over two inches narrower than the grill itself.
How many burners are there and what is the total output?
Five stainless steel tube burners rated at 60,000 BTUs, plus a 12,000 BTU ceramic infrared back burner, for 72,000 BTUs in total. This is the largest of the Premier drop-in heads listed here.
How much room is on the grates?
906 square inches of cooking surface. At that width you can run a low zone at one end and still keep three burners hot for searing.
What does the ceramic infrared back burner do?
It supplies 12,000 BTUs of radiant heat from the rear wall of the firebox, aimed at roasting rather than grate cooking. It is controlled separately from the five main burners.
Is there a rotisserie for this grill?
A rotisserie kit made for RJC40A grills is carried separately. The grill's own specification list covers the back burner but not a spit and motor.
Can the fuel type be changed after installation?
Yes. The RJC40A is field convertible between natural gas and propane, so the grill is not locked to the fuel you buy it with.
What material is the grill built from?
Stainless steel throughout the housing, with solid stainless steel cooking grids and stainless warming racks. Briquette flavor grids sit between the burners and the food.
