Summerset Cover Compatibility Guide

Summerset separates built-in grill-head covers from freestanding cart covers. Match the grill size and series, then choose the correct installation style. Resort and burner covers have their own part numbers.

Use the current Northwoods Grills cover listings below to narrow your selection. Model numbers, accessories and generation changes matter; entries that call for confirmation should be checked before purchase. Updated October 12, 2026.

GRILLCOV versus CARTCOV

GRILLCOV identifies the built-in listings in this guide; CARTCOV identifies cart covers. The 32-inch and 40-inch cart part numbers appear on more than one series-specific product listing in our catalog. Those listings are shown separately below so you can select the one that names your grill.

Sizzler, Sizzler Pro and TRL Pro owners should match the series and nominal grill size. The Resort 30-inch cover uses GRILLCOV-SBG30D. A 30-inch Resort is not a reason to substitute another brand's 30-inch cover.

PB2-PRO power burners and SB2/SB2PRO double side burners use appliance covers, not the neighboring grill's cover.

How to confirm your cover fit

  1. Find the model and serial label on your grill or appliance.
  2. Confirm the series, nominal size and built-in or cart configuration.
  3. For a cart, identify shelves, attached burners and the cart model; for an island, check protruding hood and countertop features.
  4. Match the complete cover listing. If the model is absent or the setup is custom, send us photos before ordering.

Common Summerset cover questions

Can I choose a cover by width alone?

No. Nominal grill size is not a complete cover measurement. The hood shape, control panel, cart and accessories can change the fit.

Will the same cover fit another brand?

These listings do not establish cross-brand compatibility. Choose the cover listed for your appliance or request a fit check.

What if my model is not shown?

Send the full model number, a front and side photo, and details of the cart or island. We can help check the correct cover before you buy.

When should I put the cover on?

Allow the appliance to cool completely and follow its care instructions. Let the appliance and cover dry when possible, and check periodically for trapped moisture.
