Which RCS grills does this cover fit?
It is cut for the RJC40A and RJC40AL 40-inch Premier drop-in grills and the RON42 42-inch Cutlass grill. Those are the three model designations RCS lists for this cover.
Check the model code on your grill's rating plate before ordering. A cover built for a 40-inch or 42-inch head will not sit correctly on a narrower grill.
What is the cover made from?
Two-ply vinyl with UV protection built in. The two-layer construction is what makes it crack resistant, so it stays flexible instead of going brittle after a season in direct sun.
How does it stay put on a windy day?
A custom drawstring runs around the bottom edge and cinches under the lip of the grill. Pull it tight after the hood cools and the cover holds its position instead of lifting off.
Will it work on a cart version of the same grill?
No. This one is shaped for the drop-in grill head only, so it covers the hood and control panel of a grill already set into an island. A freestanding cart grill needs a cover that reaches down over the cabinet.
If you have the built-in unit, it is the 40-inch Premier built-in grill or the 42-inch Cutlass Pro built-in grill this cover is sized around.

All RCS American Renaissance Grills, Cutlass Pro Series Grills and Cutlass Pro Series side burners, sinks, briquette trays, as well as ALL doors and drawers are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for the lifetime of the original owner.
All RCS Premier Series Grills and Premier Series Side Burners are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for 15 years to the original owner.
All RCS Refrigeration products are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for 7 years to the original owner.
All other products carry a one-year warranty to the original owner.
This RCS warranty is effective for product sales beginning April 14th, 2025.

This warranty excludes normal surface corrosion, discoloration, surface scratches and surface rust which may occur. Improper maintenance, salt spray, chemicals, pesticides will affect the look and integrity of the components of these products. RCS will not be responsible for any damage caused as a result of not following owner’s manual instructions. This non-transferrable warranty is limited to the replacement of original (one-time) defective parts, does not include shipping and labor to remove or install replacement parts, if necessary. The owner must retain and submit their original receipt with any warranty claim to receive warranty parts. The warranty applies to the original owner only.
