The RCS Classic 32" Built-In Grill brings serious cooking power to your outdoor kitchen without the premium price tag. Four stainless steel tubular burners deliver 48,000 BTU across 710 square inches of cooking space β enough room to sear steaks for the whole block while the sides stay warm on the upper rack.
Built entirely from stainless steel and backed by a 10-year warranty, the Classic is designed to live outside year-round and keep performing. It's the grill you build an island around.
Why you'll like it
- 48,000 BTU of even heat β four 12,000 BTU stainless tubular burners with heat tents spread the flame evenly and cut flare-ups.
- 710 sq. in. of cooking room β a 30-1/4" x 18" main grate plus a full stainless warming rack.
- Solid stainless grates β hold heat, lay down real sear marks, and clean up easily.
- Sure-strike ignition β lights first try, every try.
- Oversized control knobs β easy to read and easy to turn, even with grill gloves on.
- Full-width slide-out drip tray β pull it, empty it, done.
- Natural gas or propane β choose your fuel at checkout.
- 10-year warranty β RCS stands behind the build.

RCS Classic 32" Built-In Gas Grill - 4 Burners, 48,000 BTUs, 710 Sq In, Stainless Steel
Frequently Asked Questions
What cutout does the Classic 32 need, and how much clearance above it?
Cut the opening 30 5/8" wide by 21" deep by 8 1/4" high, and leave 25" of hood clearance above the grill. The hood clearance is the number people forget when they put a raised bar or an overhead structure above the grill.
What is the burner setup?
Four stainless steel tubular burners at 12,000 BTUs each, 48,000 BTUs combined. Heat tents over the burners spread the flame and reduce flare-ups.
How much cooking room is there?
710 square inches all in. The main grate measures 30 1/4" wide by 18" deep, and a full stainless warming rack sits above it.
Which model number do I order for natural gas versus propane?
Natural gas is the RCG32 and propane is the RCG32LP. Choose the fuel at checkout to get the correct valves and orifices.
Do I need an insulating liner for this grill?
Yes, if the grill is going into a combustible cabinet β a wood-framed island, for example. The liner is a separate item and is not included with the grill; see the grill liners selection.
Are the gas connections included?
No. Gas connections are not supplied with the grill, so the fittings and flex line between your gas stub and the grill are a separate purchase.
What are the grates made of?
Solid stainless steel. Solid bar grates carry more mass than rod grates, which is what puts down defined sear marks on a hot grate.
How does it light?
Sure-strike ignition on each burner. The control knobs are oversized so they can be worked with grilling gloves on.
How does grease clear out?
Through a full-width slide-out drip tray. Pull it forward, empty it, slide it back.
What is the difference between the Classic 32 and the Premier 32?
Both are 32" four-burner heads at 48,000 BTUs with 710 square inches of cooking area and the same 30 5/8" cutout width. The Premier RJC32A adds a 12,000 BTU ceramic infrared rear burner, which the Classic does not have.
Is this grill meant to live outdoors year round?
It is built entirely from stainless steel and intended to stay outside in an island. That is the argument for the Classic over a portable grill you would otherwise be dragging under cover.

He was always very attentive, patient, friendly, and easy to communicate with. His customer service really made a difference and made the whole experience so much easier for me.
Itβs not often that you receive this level of personal attention and customer service. I truly appreciate all of Ryanβs help and would absolutely recommend Northwoods Grills. Great product and outstanding customer service!

Best pricing available for the product (checked all other on line retailers), and Ryan provided excellent responsiveness during the sales process. Loved dealing directly with the owner vs a sales person.
Delivery was completed within a week of the order and Ryan stayed in touch with consistent follow-up to ensure the products met my expectations.
Will recommend to friends / others looking for a high-end built in grill and matching cabinets.
