The 18 In. Sunstone full height right-swing single door cabinet provides lots of storage space, and is easily accessible with its large tall door, giving you clear access to all your stored items. This cabinet comes with a double full-depth shelves which can be removed to allow most Ice bins, or drop-In side Burners including the Sunstone Insulated Ice-Bin Item No. B-IC14 or the High Powered Drop-In Side Burner Item No. SUN13VSB-LP/NG, while all Water or Gas plumbing can be installed by removing the Covered Floor Utility Access Hole. All Sunstone Cabinets are easily installed with simple Pin-Locks, simply Lift and Drop each cabinet into each other, no tools are required for much of the installation process and most cabinet configurations can be setup in less than an hour. For Full-Bullnose Counters – Simply remove each of the cabinets Counter-Rail seen as the top Horizontal Column, and overlap counter over front edge making for some elegant added features. Does the door swing left or right?
Both versions are made, ordered as SBC18FSDL or SBC18FSDR. Confirm the model designation you need before ordering so the open door clears the neighbouring cabinet or wall.
What size opening does the top of this cabinet give me?
The insert size is 16"W x 18"D. That is the space you have to work with if you plan to drop something into the counter above the cabinet.
Can I fit an ice bin or a drop-in burner in it?
Yes. The two full-depth shelves come out to clear the interior, and the description names the B-IC14 insulated ice bin and the SUN13VSB-LP/NG drop-in side burner as inserts this cabinet accommodates.
How do I get gas or water lines into the cabinet?
Take the cover off the floor utility access hole in the base and run the plumbing or gas line up through it. There are also covered side wall access ports for lines that cross between cabinets.
What is the overall size?
18"W x 28-1/4"D x 34-1/2"H with the adjustable legs installed.
Are the interior shelves fixed?
No. Both full-depth interior shelves are removable, which is what makes room for taller stored items or for an insert hanging down from the counter.
What if I want a drawer above the door?
That is a different model in the same width. The 18" swing door cabinet with a top drawer puts a soft-close drawer above the same style of single door.
What is left to assemble?
Fasten the door handle, hand-screw the four adjustable peg legs, and snap on the front and back kick-plates. Cabinet-to-cabinet joining uses pin-locks and needs no tools.
