The 34 In. Sunstone Gas Grill Base Cabinet is uniquely designed to receive multiple Gas Grill Brand Models right out of the box easy installation. The cabinet comes standard with a Right Side Door Enclosure for a Propane Tank or Trash Bin while the Left side has Two Large Drawers with Ample Storage Space for all your BBQ Utensils, Rubs and Sauces. The cabinet comes Fully Assembled, only requiring to fasten on the four included Peg-Legs, screw in place each 304 SS Rod Handles and mount the Front and Back Kick-Plates. This Cabinet makes use of a “TRIM-KIT” that is installed on the front face of cabinet, which adapts the cabinet to fit your preferred grill, and is compatible with Grills “CUT-OUT” Sizes between 23-7/8 In. to 28-1/2 In. Width by 8 In. to 10 1/4 Max Height with counter at 3/4 In.Height with Filler Rail installed or removed. Additional Height can be adjusted by Removing Bottom Filler Rail or by adding a Thicker Counter or Backer Board. Please Specify the Correct “TRIM-KIT” to be included with cabinet to fit your grill, if your grill is any of our Models we will automatically include the correct Trim-Kit. Frequently Asked Questions
What grill cut-out sizes will this cabinet take?
Grill cut-outs from 23-7/8" to 28-1/2" in width and 8" to 10-1/4" maximum height, measured with a 3/4" counter and the filler rail either in place or removed.
Check your grill's published cut-out dimension against that range first. The cabinet's own width is not what has to match.
Which grills go in each width?
The 34" cabinet is listed for the SUN3B, SUN3BIR and Ruby3B. The 40" takes the SUN4B, SUN4BIR and RUBY4B. The 46" takes the 42" five burner SUN5BIR and the RUBY5B IR. Browse the Sunstone built-in grills to match a model to the cabinet width.
What is the trim kit for?
It mounts on the front face of the cabinet and adapts the opening to the grill you are installing. Specify the correct trim kit on your order by matching your grill's cut-out dimension to the insert sleeve dimensions on the second page of the cabinet's spec sheet.
Can I keep the propane tank inside the cabinet?
Yes. The right side door encloses space for a propane tank or a trash bin, and the front kick-plate is vented while the rear kick-plate is solid.
What storage is on the other side?
Two large drawers on the left, running on soft-close tracks, sized for utensils, rubs and sauces next to the grill.
What if the grill sits too low in the opening?
Height can be gained by removing the bottom filler rail, or by adding a thicker countertop or backer board above the cabinet.
What are the cabinet dimensions?
All three widths are 28-1/4" deep, 34-1/2" tall with the legs installed and 30-1/2" tall without. The adjustable legs top out at a 36" maximum height.
How heavy is each version?
136.4 lbs for the 34", 156.6 lbs for the 40" and 198 lbs for the 46", before the grill goes in.
