Fall Sale: 10% off accessories with any grill, griddle or burner
At the checked $999 price, TrueFlame TFSB2 and Summerset SB2-PRO provide the same listed total output and two separate cooking positions. Start the decision with installation fit and the controls or finish you prefer. A small difference in styling should not outweigh an unsuitable opening.
Northwoods Grills prices checked October 8, 2026. Check the selected fuel variant for current price and availability. Installation and optional accessories are additional.

Specifications compare current manufacturer information; accessory mappings and prices come from Northwoods Grills listings. This is a feature comparison, not a head-to-head cooking test.
Both add two cooking positions for tasks such as vegetables and sauce. Total output is divided between positions. Neither listing's 24,000 BTU total should be treated as the output beneath one pan.
If the main goal is a large seafood boil or round-bottom wok, compare cookware support on a power burner instead. If you mostly use one saucepan, consider whether a single side burner would suit you at a lower equipment cost.
The manufacturer identifies 304 for TrueFlame and 443 for Summerset. That is a real specification difference, but it does not alone prove which complete appliance will last longer in your environment. Maintenance, exposure, installation and the materials used for individual components also matter.
For a Charleston or coastal installation, include routine cleaning and a fitted cover in the ownership plan. Do not interpret either grade as a promise that salt deposits can be left on the appliance indefinitely.
Confirm the drawing for the exact model and generation being supplied. Do not assume equal output, similar appearance or equal price means identical cutouts. Check width, depth, height, support and access to utilities.
If a liner is required, review its separate opening and installation conditions before construction. Choose the TrueFlame liner for the specified TrueFlame application or the Summerset liner for the specified Summerset application. They are not interchangeable just because both cost $499.
For either burner, $999 plus its listed $499 liner and $49 fitted cover totals $1,547 in equipment. This illustration applies only if the liner is required and the cover is wanted. Installation, taxes and other components are extra.
If both satisfy the installation, choose the model whose panel and controls fit your kitchen and whose accessory package matches your plans. Shop TrueFlame TFSB2 or shop Summerset SB2-PRO. If you are replacing an appliance, have the opening reviewed before making that cosmetic choice.
Not from the published total input: both list 24,000 BTUs. This guide does not claim measured cooking superiority.
They serve two separate pans. For large single-pot or wok tasks, compare approved cookware support on a power burner.
