Yes, it is configured for propane (LP) gas. Outdoor kitchens with a gas line run to them should use the natural gas version of the T-Series 36 inch.

Both share the 50,000 BTU main burner output and the 36.75 inch cutout, so you can switch between them without changing the island.
Should I choose the 24, 30 or 36 inch T-Series?
The 24 inch runs two burners at 32,000 BTUs over 432 square inches, the 30 inch runs three at 45,000 BTUs over 540 square inches, and this 36 inch runs three at 50,000 BTUs over 648 square inches. Cutout width goes 24.5, 30.5, 36.75 inches while depth stays at 19.5.
Available island width usually settles the question before cooking capacity does.
Is this a built-in only grill?
Yes. It is a drop-in head for a custom outdoor kitchen island and is not intended for use on a stand.
