Le Griddle Commercial Series 75 Built-In Gas Griddle, 3mm Plate — OML75C3
The Commercial Series 75 is the working version of Le Griddle's 30-inch built-in gas griddle. Two U-shape 304 stainless burners put out 18,000 BTU under a 29-3/8" x 16-1/4" plate — about 477 square inches across two independently controlled zones.
The Commercial Series drops the Pro Series lighting package — no backlit knobs, halogen lights or LED projection — and uses a straightforward push-button ignition instead. Everything that touches food is identical: the same 3mm 304 stainless cooking plate over cast iron with an aluminum base plate, the same U-shape burners, the same 304 stainless housing, the same safety valves with thermocouples. You are paying less for fewer electronics, not for a lesser griddle.
For a lot of installations that is the right trade. A griddle under a covered kitchen with its own task lighting does not need backlit knobs, and a commercial kitchen has no use for an LED brand projection on the floor. The Texas Sea Glass matte bead-blasted finish, the grease disposal holes and the removable dishwasher-safe grease tray all carry over unchanged.
Cut-out is 28-3/4" wide by 16-3/4" deep by 5-3/4" high — identical to the Pro Series 75, so the two are interchangeable in the same cabinetry. Natural gas or propane with conversion orifices included, 3/8" male flare inlet. Use the GFFRAME75 trim kit, or a GFLINER75 from our insulating liners where the surround is combustible. What opening do I need to frame for the OML75C3?
28-3/4" wide, 16-3/4" deep and 5-3/4" high.
That is identical to the Pro Series 75, so the two models are interchangeable in the same cabinetry.
How is the Commercial Series different from the Pro Series 75?
It drops the lighting package and uses push-button ignition instead of push and spark. There is no other change.
The cooking plate, U-shape burners, 304 stainless housing and thermocouple safety valves match the Pro Series 75 exactly.
How large is the cooking surface?
29-3/8" by 16-1/4", about 477 square inches.
How many heat zones does it have?
Two, each with its own burner control.
You can sear at one end and hold at the other without moving food to a second appliance.
What is the total BTU output?
18,000 BTU from two U-shape 304 stainless burners at 9,000 BTU each.
Is the 3mm plate the right one for me?
Take the 3mm if you want the surface to respond quickly when you change a setting. The 6mm plate stores more heat and suits heavier batch cooking.
What is under the cooking surface?
A 3mm 304 stainless plate sits over cast iron with an aluminum base plate underneath.
That sandwich is what spreads heat across the plate rather than concentrating it above the burners.
Can it be converted to propane?
Yes. Conversion orifices are included, so it runs either natural gas or propane.
Does the griddle need electricity even without the lighting package?
Yes. The specification lists 110V as required, and the transformer is included.
What is the gas inlet?
A 3/8" male flare fitting on the griddle.
Do I need a liner, and how do I finish the front?
A GFLINER75 is needed where the surround is combustible — that is the 75 Series insulating liner. For the visible face, the GFFRAME75 trim kit finishes the opening.
