Le Griddle Pro Series 40 Built-In Gas Griddle, 3mm Plate — OML40P3
The Pro Series 40 is the compact end of the Le Griddle built-in gas range and the one that slots into an outdoor kitchen without demanding a whole run of cabinetry. A single U-shape 304 stainless burner puts out 9,000 BTU under a 15-11/16" x 16-1/4" cooking surface — about 255 square inches, enough for breakfast for four or a steady run of smash burgers.
What separates the Pro Series from every other griddle at this size is the plate construction. The 3mm 304 stainless cooking surface sits over cast iron with an aluminum base plate underneath, so heat spreads across the whole plate instead of pooling over the burner. The thinner 3mm plate reacts faster than the 6mm — better when you want quick swings between searing and holding.
The lighting package is the Pro Series signature: backlit control knobs that read at a glance — red for high, yellow for low, blue for off — plus halogen work lights and an LED brand projection. It sounds cosmetic until you cook after dark and can actually see what setting you are on. Push & spark ignition lights it, a safety valve with a thermocouple shuts the gas off if the flame goes out, and the grease tray pulls out and goes in the dishwasher.
It ships ready for natural gas or propane — conversion orifices are in the box — with a 3/8" male flare inlet and a 110V transformer for the lights. Cut-out is 14-3/4" wide by 16-3/4" deep by 5-3/4" high. If the cabinet is combustible you need the GFLINER40 liner from our insulating liners; otherwise the GFFRAME40 trim kit finishes the face.
