Frequently Asked Questions
Which grills is this smoker box made for?
It is listed as compatible with any Bonfire 3-burner, 4-burner or 5-burner gas grill. Count the burners on your grill before ordering, since that is the fitment spec Bonfire gives for this box.
If you are still choosing the grill it will sit in, the Bonfire lineup shows the 3-, 4- and 5-burner models this box is meant to pair with.
Can I use it on a charcoal grill, or is it gas only?
Both. Bonfire describes it as designed for outdoor BBQ cooking on charcoal or gas grills, so it is not restricted to a gas cookbox.
How big is the smoker box?
It measures 18.5 inches long by 3.94 inches wide by 1.97 inches tall. At just under two inches tall it sits low on the grate, and the strip it occupies is under four inches wide, so it takes one lane of cooking surface rather than a whole side.
What is it made of, and will it rust?
It is built from 304 stainless steel, and Bonfire rates the box as rust-proof. That is the claim to weigh on a part that sits over open flame and then stays outdoors between cooks.
Let customers speak for us
I absolutely love my Coyote gas grill! The quality is excellent, it looks beautiful, and I’m very happy with my purchase.
I also want to give a special thank you to Ryan at Northwoods Grills. He was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. Before my grill even arrived, he took the time to help me with measurements and answered all of my questions to make sure everything would fit properly. He was always very attentive, patient, friendly, and easy to communicate with. His customer service really made a difference and made the whole experience so much easier for me.
It’s not often that you receive this level of personal attention and customer service. I truly appreciate all of Ryan’s help and would absolutely recommend Northwoods Grills. Great product and outstanding customer service!

Best pricing available for the product (checked all other on line retailers), and Ryan provided excellent responsiveness during the sales process. Loved dealing directly with the owner vs a sales person.
Delivery was completed within a week of the order and Ryan stayed in touch with consistent follow-up to ensure the products met my expectations.
Will recommend to friends / others looking for a high-end built in grill and matching cabinets.

I was caught in a bind with a DIFFERENT provider, and Ryan was able to get me exactly what I needed, he reached out to the manufacturer for me to confirm specs and had my shipment mailed out same day. If you’re in the market for any outdoor kitchen needs, look no further than Northwoods!
