Frequently Asked Questions
Which Coyote models is this tray listed to fit?
Coyote names C1C34, C1C36, C1SL36, C2C34, C2C36, C2SL36, C3C34, C3C36 and C3SL36. Find your model designation on the grill before ordering and match it against that list.
How do I know whether I need CCHTRAY12 or the other tray?
CCHTRAY12 is the 34" and 36" tray. If your grill is a 30-inch or 42-inch Coyote, the CCHTRAY15 tray is the correct size.
What do I do with it once it arrives?
Fill it with charcoal and place it in the grill. There is no plumbing, conversion or permanent change to the grill involved.
Does it replace gas cooking?
No. It layers charcoal flavor onto a gas grill, so you keep the gas grill you already own and gain a second way to cook on it.
What is the construction?
304-grade stainless steel, built to resist corrosion and take the heat that charcoal puts out directly against the tray walls.
Let customers speak for us
I absolutely love my Coyote gas grill! The quality is excellent, it looks beautiful, and I’m very happy with my purchase.
I also want to give a special thank you to Ryan at Northwoods Grills. He was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. Before my grill even arrived, he took the time to help me with measurements and answered all of my questions to make sure everything would fit properly. He was always very attentive, patient, friendly, and easy to communicate with. His customer service really made a difference and made the whole experience so much easier for me.
It’s not often that you receive this level of personal attention and customer service. I truly appreciate all of Ryan’s help and would absolutely recommend Northwoods Grills. Great product and outstanding customer service!

Best pricing available for the product (checked all other on line retailers), and Ryan provided excellent responsiveness during the sales process. Loved dealing directly with the owner vs a sales person.
Delivery was completed within a week of the order and Ryan stayed in touch with consistent follow-up to ensure the products met my expectations.
Will recommend to friends / others looking for a high-end built in grill and matching cabinets.
