Bring authentic wood-fired flavor and digital convenience to your outdoor kitchen with the Coyote 36" Next-Gen Built-In Pellet Grill (C2P36). Engineered to drop seamlessly into a custom kitchen island, this built-in grill pairs the rich taste of hardwood pellets with precise digital control. The advanced control panel lets you dial in any temperature from a low 175°F for slow smoking up to a high 700°F for grilling and searing, all managed automatically once you set your target.

With 808 square inches of total cooking area — 594 square inches on the main grate plus a 214 square inch secondary rack — you have room to smoke briskets, roast whole turkeys, and grill for a crowd. The generous 17 lb front-loading hopper makes fuel easy to add and monitor, so long cooks stay on temperature without interruption.

Built from durable 304 stainless steel inside and out, the C2P36 measures 36"W x 27"D x 31"H and weighs 225 lbs, with internal and external grill lights and a spring-assisted hood for effortless access. Its built-in design delivers a clean, custom look while providing the rugged performance Coyote is known for. Coyote backs it with a lifetime warranty on the stainless exterior, five years on interior components, and three years on parts.

Frequently Asked Questions

How big does the island opening have to be?

The C2P36 drops into a cutout measuring 34 1/4" wide x 23" deep x 16 1/2" high. The finished unit is 36" W x 27" D x 31" H.

The 31-inch overall height is the number that catches people out. A pellet grill carries its hopper and burn system below the cooking chamber, so it needs depth in the island that a gas grill head does not.

How much food fits on it?

808 square inches in total, made up of a 594 square inch main grate and a 214 square inch secondary rack. That is enough for briskets, whole turkeys or a full grate of ribs.

How low and how hot will it go?

175°F at the bottom of the range up to 700°F at the top, dialed in on the digital control panel and held automatically once you set a target.

How often do I have to refill pellets on a long cook?

The hopper holds 17 pounds and loads from the front, which is sized for extended cooks without interrupting the session to reload.

Front loading is the practical detail on a built-in. Once the grill is in the island, a rear-fill hopper would be unreachable.

Does it need an electrical connection?

Yes. Digital temperature control means the controller and feed system draw power, so plan an outlet at the grill location while the island is still open.

Does it have lights?

Internal and external lights are fitted, and the hood is spring-assisted so it opens with one hand while you are holding a tray in the other.

What is the construction?

304 stainless steel inside and out, which is the same grade Coyote uses across its built-in gas grills.

How much does it weigh?

225 pounds. Build the island framing to carry that load, and plan how the unit will be lifted into the opening.

How does it compare to the 28-inch model?

The 28" Next-Gen pellet grill covers the same 175°F to 700°F range but holds 609 square inches and a 12 pound hopper. This one adds roughly 200 square inches of grate and five more pounds of pellet capacity.

Cutout depth and height are identical between the two, so the choice comes down to island width.

Is there a freestanding version?

Yes. The 36" Next-Gen freestanding pellet grill cart is the same grill on a cart, for setups where nothing is being built in.

Can I use it as an outdoor oven?

Yes. With a set temperature held automatically across the full range, it roasts and bakes as readily as it smokes, so it covers more than barbecue.
