This is the widest-fitting cover in Primo's range, and the one whose title needs reading slowly. It is listed for three separate setups across three grill sizes, and it fits those setups rather than those grills in general.
- Oval X-Large in a cart with stainless side tables, or in a cypress compact table
- Large 300 in a cart with stainless side tables
- Junior 200 in a cypress table
What ties those three together is overall silhouette rather than grill size. An X-Large with a work surface either side ends up close in outline to a smaller grill in a table, which is why one cover can serve all three. It also means the reverse holds: if your grill is in one of those sizes but a different surround — a countertop table, an island top, an All-In-One stand, or a built-in island — this is not the cover for it.
Note that the stainless side tables are part of the setup being covered, not a description of the cover. If your cart is the bare base with no shelves on it, you are looking at a narrower shape than the one this cover was cut around, so check what is actually bolted to your cart before ordering.
It fits over the Primo Cart Base with Basket and Stainless Steel Side Shelves for Oval X-Large and Large carrying an Oval X-Large ceramic charcoal grill. For a Junior in a cart rather than a table, use the Primo cover for an Oval Junior in a cart, and compare the rest in grill covers.
Primo Buying and Fit Help
Primo Grill Cover for Oval X-Large and Large or Junior in a Cart or Cypress Table PG00414
Frequently Asked Questions
Which Primo configurations does this cover fit?
Three. An Oval X-Large in a cart with stainless side tables or in a cypress compact table; a Large 300 in a cart with stainless side tables; and a Junior 200 in a cypress table. Any other combination of those grills and surrounds falls to a different cover listing.
Will it fit my Oval X-Large if the cart has no side tables on it?
The listing describes the X-Large in a cart with stainless side tables, so the shelves are part of the shape it was cut around. A bare cart base is narrower. If that is your setup, compare the other cover listings against what your grill actually sits in before ordering this one.
Does one cover really fit three different grill sizes?
Yes, because the cover follows the finished outline rather than the grill alone. A big grill with shelves either side and a smaller grill inside a table end up close enough in shape for one cover. It is the exception in the range, not the rule.
Is this cover made of stainless steel?
No. The stainless steel in this listing refers to the side tables on the cart it goes over, not to the cover itself. It is a grill cover, and the stainless wording is there to tell you which cart configuration it fits.
My Junior sits in a cart, not a table. Which cover do I need?
The Primo Grill Cover for Oval Junior in Cart. This listing names the Junior 200 only when it is in a cypress table. The two are different silhouettes, so the cart and the table are not interchangeable here.
Will this work over an Oval X-Large in a countertop table?
No. A cypress compact table and a countertop table are separate products in Primo's range. For the X-Large in a countertop table use the Primo Grill Cover for Oval X-Large with Countertop Table, which names that configuration directly.
Does the Oval XX-Large fit under this cover?
No. The XX-Large is not named on this listing at all. Primo's biggest Oval is covered by its own listings, including the cover it shares with the X-Large in All-In-One form. Start from your grill's model name, then find the surround in the cover title.
Let customers speak for us
I absolutely love my Coyote gas grill! The quality is excellent, it looks beautiful, and I’m very happy with my purchase.
I also want to give a special thank you to Ryan at Northwoods Grills. He was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. Before my grill even arrived, he took the time to help me with measurements and answered all of my questions to make sure everything would fit properly. He was always very attentive, patient, friendly, and easy to communicate with. His customer service really made a difference and made the whole experience so much easier for me.
It’s not often that you receive this level of personal attention and customer service. I truly appreciate all of Ryan’s help and would absolutely recommend Northwoods Grills. Great product and outstanding customer service!

Best pricing available for the product (checked all other on line retailers), and Ryan provided excellent responsiveness during the sales process. Loved dealing directly with the owner vs a sales person.
Delivery was completed within a week of the order and Ryan stayed in touch with consistent follow-up to ensure the products met my expectations.
Will recommend to friends / others looking for a high-end built in grill and matching cabinets.
