The Sunstone Cabinet Island Series 18 In Combo Upper Wall -Left Swing Door Cabinet provides the perfect Over-Head Storage Option, most often used above Sinks or Ice Chest in the Serving Zone. The cabinet is 18 In.Width by 21 In.Tall and 14 In.Depth including front Door Panel This cabinet is completely open, allowing for Larger Stored Items to be stored securely away. All Sunstone Wall Cabinets are easily installed with simple Horizontal Wall Support Slates which interlock into each other keeping a perfect Horizontal Line every time. What are the dimensions of the SWC18CSD?
18" wide, 14" deep including the front door panel, and 21" tall. With the crown molding panel added it measures 23" tall.
Can I get it swinging the other direction?
Yes. Left swing and right swing versions are both listed, and they carry identical dimensions and a 35 lb net weight, so the layout drawing does not change with the swing.
Are there shelves inside?
No, the interior is completely open. That is deliberate, so larger items that will not fit between shelves can still be stored out of sight.
How does it mount?
On Sunstone's horizontal wall support slates, which interlock so each cabinet in the row lands on the same horizontal line.
Where is this cabinet usually placed?
Overhead in the serving zone, most often above a sink or an ice chest, where a full height wall cabinet would hang too low over the working area.
What if it sits next to a full height wall cabinet?
Add the SWC13CEP panel to the lower end of the full height cabinet's side, so the exposed section below the taller cabinet is finished. A full height 18" wall cabinet is the usual neighbour.
How much does it weigh?
35 lbs net, in a 21" x 17" x 24" carton at 44 lbs gross, so it is one of the easier pieces to hang.
What assembly is required?
Fasten the door handle and snap on the crown molding. The cabinet body arrives assembled.
