What opening does the 17" x 24" pantry need?
The cutout is 18-1/4" wide by 25-1/4" high. The cabinet measures 20" wide, 27" high and 20.6" deep, and it weighs 45 pounds.
How do the 17" x 24" and 30" versions differ?
Orientation. BA-DSV1724 is the vertical unit described above; BA-DSH30 is horizontal at 30" wide by 21" high with a 28-1/4" by 19-1/4" cutout and a 54 pound weight.
Both are 20.6" deep, so either one drops into the same island depth. Pick by the shape of the opening you have left in the run.
Is there a shelf inside?
The 17" x 24" vertical unit is a large single dry storage cabinet with an inside shelf, which splits the tall interior into two usable levels.
What makes it weather sealed?
The door frame itself is sealed, and the doors are beveled framed-in for added door strength and stability. The frame is 16 gauge 304 stainless and the door panel is 18 gauge 304 stainless.
Will it work in a stucco or stone island?
Yes. Sunstone specifies it for all outdoor kitchen installations including stucco, masonry and veneer stone. Matching grill cabinets can fill out the rest of the run.
