Memphis FAQs

About the Memphis Series

The Memphis line is our tribute to classic Southern barbecue — heavy-gauge offset smokers and charcoal grills built by hand in the Upper Midwest for low-and-slow cooks. Below are answers to the questions we hear most about this collection.

About Our Craftsmanship

How are Memphis smokers built? Each unit is welded by hand from cold-rolled carbon steel for the cooking chamber and firebox, with food-grade stainless and cast iron grates. We build in small batches so every weld and seam is inspected before it ships.

Ordering & Customization

Can I customize a Memphis smoker? Yes. We offer custom firebox sizing, additional cooking racks, shelf and door options, and personalized name plates. Standard models ship in 5-10 business days; custom builds take 3-5 weeks depending on the configuration.

Shipping & Delivery

How do large smokers ship? Memphis offset smokers are heavy units. We ship via freight across the continental US with liftgate and curbside delivery. You'll receive tracking and a scheduling call from the carrier before the delivery window.

Care, Warranty & Returns

What's covered and how do I care for it? Welds and the cooking chamber carry a limited lifetime warranty; hardware and components are covered for 5 years. Season the steel before first use and keep it covered between cooks. Standard models can be returned within 30 days; custom builds are non-returnable.
