Memphis Elevate 30" Built-In Pellet Grill with Wi-Fi, Dual Open Flame Modes up to 900°F

Frequently Asked Questions

What size opening do I build for the Elevate 30 built-in?

The cutout is 30-1/4 inches wide, 16-3/4 inches high and 24-1/2 inches deep. Frame the island to those numbers before the grill shows up on site.

Finished overall dimensions are 30 inches wide, 30 inches high and 31 inches deep, so leave room behind the opening for the full body depth.

How hot does this pellet grill get?

The controlled range is 180°F to 600°F, and the two open flame modes go over 900°F. That spread covers low-and-slow smoking at the bottom and direct searing at the top.

Memphis calls this Direct Flame Technology, and the Direct Flame Insert needed to run it is included rather than sold as an add-on.

How much cooking surface does it have?

578 square inches on the standard grates. The optional Extended Grate Kit takes it to 1,079 square inches and is sold separately.

How many pounds of pellets does the hopper hold?

12 pounds. A convection cooking system moves that heat around the chamber so the grill holds a set temperature instead of spiking near the fire pot.

What comes in the box?

The Direct Flame Insert, the Genie Tool and one meat probe. The Built-in Bracket Accessory Package is also included, which supplies the vented brackets the grill hangs on inside an island.

The controller has three probe ports, so you can add probes later without running out of inputs.

What electrical work does a built-in installation need?

A dedicated electrical circuit, installed by a certified electrician. That is a pellet grill requirement, not an option, because the auger, igniter and blower all run on power.

Memphis also advises unplugging the grill between uses or wiring in an on/off switch when it is built into an island.

What does the Wi-Fi actually let me do?

It lets you monitor and control the grill remotely instead of standing at the island. Connectivity depends on your network's security protocols and router compatibility, so check your router before you count on it.

What is the Elevate 30 made of?

430 stainless steel in a dual-wall, sealed build. Oven-grade gasketing around the lid keeps the heat inside, which is what makes low-temperature smoking hold steady.

How much weight does my island have to carry?

194 pounds for the grill head plus 20 pounds for the brackets. Size the island framing and any bracing for that combined load.

Can it do more than grill?

Yes. The same unit handles smoking, braising, grilling, roasting, baking and searing, which is the reason for the wide 180°F to 600°F band plus the open flame modes.

How is this different from the freestanding Elevate 30?

This version is built for an island and includes the built-in bracket package. The Elevate 30 freestanding model uses the Leg Accessory Package instead and stands on its own.

Cooking specs match between the two: 578 square inches, 12-pound hopper and the same 180°F to 600°F range. Pick based on whether you are building an island or not. More options are in built-in pellet grills.
