American Made Grills Large Power Burner Cover FAQs
Which burners does the GRILLCOV-APB2 fit?
American Made Grills large power burners. One cover serves the large power burner across the range, so you do not need to match it to a particular grill series — browse the matching American Made Grills burners to confirm which unit you have.
Do I still need a cover if the burner has a lid?
Yes. Even with the protective lid closed, a fitted cover keeps water out of the control panel and the ignition, and that is where corrosion actually causes failures.
What does it cover?
The burner head. A power burner is the most exposed appliance in most islands — a wide, upward-facing burner bowl that collects everything that falls on it.
What is the material?
Heavy-duty PVC, water-resistant and UV-protected so it resists fading and weather-related wear.
Will it scratch the surface?
No — a soft flannel backing sits against the stainless instead of bare vinyl.
Large Power Burner Cover
The Large Power Burner Cover (GRILLCOV-APB2) is cut specifically for AMG large power burners, which is the whole point — a tailored cover sheds water off the lid instead of pooling on it, and does not flap itself to pieces in wind the way a generic cover does. Browse the full range of grill covers from American Made Grills.
Constructed from heavy-duty PVC, fully water-resistant and UV-protected to slow the fading and embrittlement that kills cheap covers after two summers. The material is the part people skip when comparing covers, and it is the part that determines whether you are buying one cover or one every eighteen months.
One cover serves the large power burner across the AMG range, matching the way a single GL-APB2 liner fits all of them. If you have a power burner in an AMG island, this is the cover for it.
Inside, a soft flannel backing sits against the stainless. This matters more than it sounds: an unlined cover traps grit against the finish and, with enough wind cycles, polishes fine scratches into the surface. The flannel layer is what keeps the stainless looking like stainless.

I absolutely love my Coyote gas grill! The quality is excellent, it looks beautiful, and I’m very happy with my purchase.
I also want to give a special thank you to Ryan at Northwoods Grills. He was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. Before my grill even arrived, he took the time to help me with measurements and answered all of my questions to make sure everything would fit properly. He was always very attentive, patient, friendly, and easy to communicate with. His customer service really made a difference and made the whole experience so much easier for me.
It’s not often that you receive this level of personal attention and customer service. I truly appreciate all of Ryan’s help and would absolutely recommend Northwoods Grills. Great product and outstanding customer service!

Best pricing available for the product (checked all other on line retailers), and Ryan provided excellent responsiveness during the sales process. Loved dealing directly with the owner vs a sales person.
Delivery was completed within a week of the order and Ryan stayed in touch with consistent follow-up to ensure the products met my expectations.
Will recommend to friends / others looking for a high-end built in grill and matching cabinets.
