American Made Grills Alturi 42" Built-In Deluxe Grill Cover
The Alturi 42" Built-In Deluxe Grill Cover (GRILLCOV-ALT42D) is cut specifically for the Alturi 42" built-in grill head, which is the whole point — a tailored cover sheds water instead of pooling it, and does not flap itself apart in wind the way a generic cover does. Browse the full range of grill covers from American Made Grills.
Constructed from heavy-duty PVC, fully water-resistant and UV-protected to slow the fading and embrittlement that kills cheap covers after two summers. Material is the part people skip when comparing covers, and it is the part that decides whether you buy one cover or one every eighteen months.
The 42" hood is the largest flat surface in the Alturi range, which makes fit matter more, not less — a loose cover on a wide hood collects a pool of rainwater in the middle and then sags under it. Cut-to-model is the whole point.
Inside, a soft flannel backing sits against the stainless. An unlined cover traps grit against the finish and, with enough wind cycles, polishes fine scratches into it. The flannel layer is what keeps stainless looking like stainless. Covered by a 3-year warranty on covers.

American Made Grills Alturi 42" Built-In Deluxe Grill Cover
Frequently Asked Questions
Does fit matter more on the 42-inch hood?
Yes. The 42" hood is the largest flat surface in the Alturi range, and a loose cover on a wide hood collects a pool of rainwater in the middle and then sags under it. Cut-to-model is the whole point.
What size and model is this?
GRILLCOV-ALT42D, cut for the Alturi 42" built-in grill head. Coverage is the grill head only.
What is the construction?
Heavy-duty PVC, fully water-resistant and UV-protected against fading and embrittlement.
Will it mark the stainless?
No — the interior is flannel-backed. That soft layer keeps windblown grit from being held against the finish and worked into fine scratches.
I have the 42-inch on a cart. Same cover?
No. The cart configuration needs the full-height cover that reaches down over the base — that is the Alturi 42" freestanding cover.
Let customers speak for us
I absolutely love my Coyote gas grill! The quality is excellent, it looks beautiful, and I’m very happy with my purchase.
I also want to give a special thank you to Ryan at Northwoods Grills. He was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. Before my grill even arrived, he took the time to help me with measurements and answered all of my questions to make sure everything would fit properly. He was always very attentive, patient, friendly, and easy to communicate with. His customer service really made a difference and made the whole experience so much easier for me.
It’s not often that you receive this level of personal attention and customer service. I truly appreciate all of Ryan’s help and would absolutely recommend Northwoods Grills. Great product and outstanding customer service!

Best pricing available for the product (checked all other on line retailers), and Ryan provided excellent responsiveness during the sales process. Loved dealing directly with the owner vs a sales person.
Delivery was completed within a week of the order and Ryan stayed in touch with consistent follow-up to ensure the products met my expectations.
Will recommend to friends / others looking for a high-end built in grill and matching cabinets.
