American Made Grills Alturi 42" Freestanding Deluxe Grill Cover
The Alturi 42" Freestanding Deluxe Grill Cover (CARTCOV-ALT42D) is cut specifically for the Alturi 42" freestanding grill on its cart, which is the whole point — a tailored cover sheds water instead of pooling it, and does not flap itself apart in wind the way a generic cover does. Browse the full range of grill covers from American Made Grills.
Constructed from heavy-duty PVC, fully water-resistant and UV-protected to slow the fading and embrittlement that kills cheap covers after two summers. Material is the part people skip when comparing covers, and it is the part that decides whether you buy one cover or one every eighteen months.
The largest cover in the Alturi range, cut for the 42" head plus its cart. If the grill lives on an open deck or near the coast, this is the single cheapest thing standing between salt air and several thousand dollars of stainless.
Inside, a soft flannel backing sits against the stainless. An unlined cover traps grit against the finish and, with enough wind cycles, polishes fine scratches into it. The flannel layer is what keeps stainless looking like stainless. Covered by a 3-year warranty on covers.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which grill does CARTCOV-ALT42D fit?
The Alturi 42" freestanding grill on its cart. It is the largest cover in the Alturi range, cut for the 42" head plus the cart beneath it.
Is it worth covering a grill that lives on an open deck?
If the grill sits exposed or near the coast, this is the cheapest thing standing between salt air and the stainless underneath.
Full-height coverage matters there, because a freestanding unit takes weather from every side rather than only from above.
What material is used?
Heavy-duty PVC, fully water-resistant and UV-protected. That is what separates a cover you buy once from one you replace every eighteen months.
Does it have an interior lining?
Yes, a soft flannel backing against the stainless, so trapped grit is not ground into the finish through wind cycles.
Does it fit a built-in Alturi 42?
No. Built-in installations expose only the head and take the shorter grill-head cover. Other options are in grill covers.
Let customers speak for us
I absolutely love my Coyote gas grill! The quality is excellent, it looks beautiful, and I’m very happy with my purchase.
I also want to give a special thank you to Ryan at Northwoods Grills. He was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. Before my grill even arrived, he took the time to help me with measurements and answered all of my questions to make sure everything would fit properly. He was always very attentive, patient, friendly, and easy to communicate with. His customer service really made a difference and made the whole experience so much easier for me.
It’s not often that you receive this level of personal attention and customer service. I truly appreciate all of Ryan’s help and would absolutely recommend Northwoods Grills. Great product and outstanding customer service!

Best pricing available for the product (checked all other on line retailers), and Ryan provided excellent responsiveness during the sales process. Loved dealing directly with the owner vs a sales person.
Delivery was completed within a week of the order and Ryan stayed in touch with consistent follow-up to ensure the products met my expectations.
Will recommend to friends / others looking for a high-end built in grill and matching cabinets.
