Frequently Asked Questions
What are the cut-out dimensions for this door?
14.5 inches wide by 21 inches high. It is a vertical door, so plan the opening taller than it is wide.
Is the door insulated?
It uses insulated double-wall construction. Beyond the added protection, the double wall is what gives the door its solid feel instead of the thin flex you get from a single-skin panel.
Can I order it for a left or right swing?
The hinge is reversible, so you set the swing yourself at installation to match how the rest of your island is laid out.
How does the door open and close?
With a stainless steel tubular handle and a black slam latch. The latch catches when you push the door shut, so you are not fighting a knob with your hands full.
What grade of stainless is it?
304 stainless steel, the corrosion-resistant grade, on a door meant to live outdoors year round.
What fits behind a 14 inch vertical door?
Concealed island space for grilling tools, accessories and supplies. The tall, narrow shape suits a slim bay in the island where a wide door would not fit.
I need the same size opening but horizontal - is there an option?
The 20 inch single access door is the horizontal counterpart at 20.5 inches wide by 14.5 inches high, with the same insulated double-wall build.

I absolutely love my Coyote gas grill! The quality is excellent, it looks beautiful, and I’m very happy with my purchase.
I also want to give a special thank you to Ryan at Northwoods Grills. He was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. Before my grill even arrived, he took the time to help me with measurements and answered all of my questions to make sure everything would fit properly. He was always very attentive, patient, friendly, and easy to communicate with. His customer service really made a difference and made the whole experience so much easier for me.
It’s not often that you receive this level of personal attention and customer service. I truly appreciate all of Ryan’s help and would absolutely recommend Northwoods Grills. Great product and outstanding customer service!

Best pricing available for the product (checked all other on line retailers), and Ryan provided excellent responsiveness during the sales process. Loved dealing directly with the owner vs a sales person.
Delivery was completed within a week of the order and Ryan stayed in touch with consistent follow-up to ensure the products met my expectations.
Will recommend to friends / others looking for a high-end built in grill and matching cabinets.
