Which sizes and cut-outs does this door come in?

The 12-18-SD takes a 12.5 by 18.5 inch cut-out, the 14-20-SD takes 14.5 by 20.5 inches, the 17-24-SD takes 17.5 by 24.5 inches, the 18-12-SD takes 18.5 by 12.5 inches, and the 24-17-SD takes 24.5 by 17.5 inches. Match the model code on your order to the opening you have.

How do I read the model numbers?

The two numbers are the nominal width and height of the door in inches - 14-20-SD is the 14 by 20 inch vertical door, 18-12-SD is the 18 by 12 inch horizontal one. The cut-out for each runs a half inch larger in both directions.

Are there both tall and wide versions?

Yes. The 12-18, 14-20 and 17-24 doors are vertical, and the 18-12 and 24-17 doors are horizontal, so you can fill either a narrow bay or a low run under a counter.

Does the door swing left or right?

Either - the door is reversible, so you set the swing at installation to suit the island.

How does the latch work?

It uses a durable black slam latch, which catches when you push the door closed rather than needing a separate turn or lock.

Is this a double wall door?

No, this one is single wall construction in 304 stainless steel. If you want the heavier feel of a double wall panel with tubular handles, look at the premium single access door instead.
