Frequently Asked Questions
What opening do I frame for the AOG20AR?
20.5 inches wide by 14.5 inches high. This is a horizontal door, so the opening is wider than it is tall.
Where does a horizontal door make more sense than a vertical one?
In short island runs where you have width but not height - under a countertop overhang or below a bar top, for instance. At 14.5 inches high it slots into compact spaces that a tall door cannot use.
Is this the same door as the 14 inch model turned sideways?
The cut-out numbers are reversed - 20.5 by 14.5 here versus 14.5 by 21 on the 14 inch vertical door - so they are not interchangeable. Both use the same insulated double-wall build and reversible hinge.
Can the hinge be set for a right-hand swing?
Yes, the hinge is reversible for a left or right swing, which you decide when you mount the door in the island.
What does double-wall construction do here?
The insulated double wall adds protection and stiffness, so the door feels solid when you open it rather than flexing across a 20 inch span.
Where is this door manufactured?
It is made in the USA, in 304-grade stainless steel that resists corrosion in outdoor conditions.
How do you open it?
By a stainless steel tubular handle running across the door face, which matches the handle style on AOG grills and other island components.

I absolutely love my Coyote gas grill! The quality is excellent, it looks beautiful, and I’m very happy with my purchase.
I also want to give a special thank you to Ryan at Northwoods Grills. He was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. Before my grill even arrived, he took the time to help me with measurements and answered all of my questions to make sure everything would fit properly. He was always very attentive, patient, friendly, and easy to communicate with. His customer service really made a difference and made the whole experience so much easier for me.
It’s not often that you receive this level of personal attention and customer service. I truly appreciate all of Ryan’s help and would absolutely recommend Northwoods Grills. Great product and outstanding customer service!

Best pricing available for the product (checked all other on line retailers), and Ryan provided excellent responsiveness during the sales process. Loved dealing directly with the owner vs a sales person.
Delivery was completed within a week of the order and Ryan stayed in touch with consistent follow-up to ensure the products met my expectations.
Will recommend to friends / others looking for a high-end built in grill and matching cabinets.
