17.5 inches wide by 24.5 inches high. That is the largest of AOG's narrow vertical doors, so it gives you a taller opening without widening the bay.
Why choose a vertical door over a horizontal one?
A vertical door fits into narrow island sections - the leftover run beside a grill or between cabinets - where a wide horizontal door will not fit at all.
Which way does the AOG17AR open?
Either way. The reversible hinge design lets you mount it for a left or right swing to fit your layout.
Is there a latch, or just a handle?
Both. There is a stainless steel tubular handle for pulling the door open and a black slam latch that catches when you close it.
What is the door made of?
304-grade stainless steel. It is the grade used for corrosion resistance in outdoor installations, and it keeps a clean finish season after season.
Can I keep a propane tank behind this door?
AOG lists propane tanks along with grilling tools and accessories as what this door conceals. It has no tray or louvers, though - if you want a ventilated bay with a roll-out tank tray, look at the 14 inch door with tank tray instead.
