What size opening does the AOG14TR need in my island?

Frame a cut-out of 14.5 inches wide by 21 inches high by 20.5 inches deep. The depth matters on this one because the slide-out tray has to travel inside the island, so a shallow bay will not work.

Will a standard propane tank fit on the tray?

Yes. The slide-out tray is sized for a standard 20 pound LP tank, and it also works as a holder for a trash can if you would rather use the bay that way.

Why is the door louvered instead of solid?

The louvers ventilate the compartment, which is what makes it appropriate for storing an LP tank behind a closed door. Air moves through the front of the door rather than being sealed in with the tank.

Does the tray make hooking up the tank easier?
