Three U-shaped stainless steel main burners produce a combined 45,000 BTUs across 540 square inches of primary grilling space, while Diamond Sear cooking grids retain heat for faster cooking and crisp sear marks. A 12,000 BTU infrared rear burner works with the included high-performance rotisserie kit for effortless rotisserie roasting, bringing total output to 57,000 BTUs. The secondary warming rack pushes total cooking capacity to 691 square inches.

What size opening should my island have?

Is this the propane model?
Yes, AOG30LP is the propane configuration. If your outdoor kitchen has a natural gas line, the natural gas version of this L-Series grill is the model to order.
Is a rotisserie included?
Yes. The high-performance rotisserie kit ships with the grill and runs off the 12,000 BTU infrared rear burner.
Why choose an infrared rear burner over cooking on the main grate?
The rear burner heats from behind the food instead of below it, which suits a slowly turning roast. The three main burners stay free for anything you are grilling directly.
Does it have lights inside the hood?
Interior halogen lighting is built in and lights the cooking surface for evening use.
What material is the grill made from?
304 stainless steel, inside and out, with Diamond Sear cooking grids and stainless steel flame tamers.
The grids retain heat rather than losing it when cold food hits them, which is what gives faster cooking and defined sear marks.
How is this different from the T-Series 30 inch propane grill?
The burners, 45,000 BTUs and 540 square inches of primary area are the same on both. This L-Series model adds halogen lights, the infrared rear burner and the rotisserie kit.
Compare it against the T-Series 30 inch propane grill if those three features are not on your list.
Can this be installed anywhere other than a built-in island?
No. This is a grill head for built-in installation in a custom outdoor kitchen, so the island has to be in place first.
Does the warming rack come out?
Yes, the warming rack is removable, which frees up hood clearance when you are cooking something tall on the main grate.
