Frequently Asked Questions
What opening does the 30-IL-C liner drop into?
34 5/8 inches wide by 21 5/8 inches deep by 9 inches high. Those are the numbers to give your island builder, since the liner sets the cut-out and the grill head then sets into the liner.
Is this the right liner for my grill?
It is engineered for American Outdoor Grill L-Series and T-Series 30 inch built-in gas grills. Confirm both the series and the 30 inch size on your grill head before ordering, since liners are size-specific.
What does the liner actually do?
It sits between the grill head and the enclosure as a non-combustible barrier, keeping cooking heat off the surrounding cabinetry.
Can I skip it if I am building the island out of wood or composite?
No - that is exactly the case the liner exists for. It is what makes a safe installation possible in an island framed from wood, composite or other combustible materials.
Is the liner required or recommended?
AOG treats it as a required component of any custom build housing a 30 inch L-Series or T-Series grill head, so budget it in with the grill.
What material is it?
304 stainless steel, chosen to stay corrosion resistant in the same conditions the grill lives in.
Does the depth differ between liner sizes?
Depth and height stay the same at 21 5/8 inches deep and 9 inches high across the L and T-Series liners; it is the width that changes with grill size. Grill heads for these liners are in the AOG built-in grill collection.

I absolutely love my Coyote gas grill! The quality is excellent, it looks beautiful, and I’m very happy with my purchase.
I also want to give a special thank you to Ryan at Northwoods Grills. He was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. Before my grill even arrived, he took the time to help me with measurements and answered all of my questions to make sure everything would fit properly. He was always very attentive, patient, friendly, and easy to communicate with. His customer service really made a difference and made the whole experience so much easier for me.
It’s not often that you receive this level of personal attention and customer service. I truly appreciate all of Ryan’s help and would absolutely recommend Northwoods Grills. Great product and outstanding customer service!

Best pricing available for the product (checked all other on line retailers), and Ryan provided excellent responsiveness during the sales process. Loved dealing directly with the owner vs a sales person.
Delivery was completed within a week of the order and Ryan stayed in touch with consistent follow-up to ensure the products met my expectations.
Will recommend to friends / others looking for a high-end built in grill and matching cabinets.
