That makes sense once the grill is installed. In a built-in, the island carries the body of the cooker and it is the dome and the top of the grill that stand proud of the counter, so the surround, not the grill, decides most of the outline. Everywhere else in the cover range, the cart or the table is what varies, and the covers vary with it.
A built-in grill also has the most to gain from being covered. It is the one installation you cannot roll under cover for the winter, it usually sits in an open outdoor kitchen, and the surround around it collects everything that lands on the counter. What counts as a built-in application?
A grill set permanently into a surround — masonry, a framed outdoor kitchen run, or a custom island — so that the island carries the grill and the dome sits above the counter line. If your grill can be wheeled away, it is not a built-in, and a different cover applies.
Why is there only one cover for every Oval size?
