Which griddles does the GFCART105 fit?

It is built for the 41-inch 105 Series griddles — the GFE105 and OML105. Le Griddle sizes each cart to one series, so a 40 or 75 Series griddle is not a match for this frame.

If you have not bought the griddle yet, confirm the model designation on the unit you are ordering before you pair it with this cart.

Is the griddle included with the cart?

No. This listing covers the cart only — the griddle and the lid are sold separately. What you are buying is the rolling base a 105 Series griddle drops into.

The matching hood is the 105 Series stainless lid, ordered on its own.

How much room does it take up on a patio?

With both side shelves folded down it is 43-1/2" wide and 17-1/4" deep. Extend the shelves and the working width goes to 72", so plan on six feet of clear space when you are actually cooking.

Folded, it tucks against a wall between cooks. That is the whole reason the shelves fold.

How much can the side shelves hold?

Each folding shelf is rated to roughly 20 lbs. On a griddle this long that lets you stage raw food at one end and finished plates at the other instead of crowding the cooking surface.

Does the cart stay put once I roll it into place?

It runs on four swivel casters, two of them with locking brakes. Roll it where you want it, drop the two brakes, and it stops moving while you work.

Is there storage underneath?

Yes. A dual-door cabinet runs under the cart, sized for a cleaning kit, scrapers, oil and covers rather than being a token shelf.

Can it stay outside?

The cart is 304 stainless steel throughout and is listed as weather resistant, which is what lets it live on an open patio instead of being stored between cooks.

How tall is the working surface?

34", which is standard counter height. A griddle set on this cart lines up with adjacent counters and prep surfaces instead of sitting low.
