Le Griddle Insulating Liner for 105 Series Griddles — GFLINER105

The GFLINER105 is the insulating liner for the 41-inch Le Griddle griddles — the GFE105 and OML105. As with every liner in the range, it is a code and safety item rather than an upgrade: a combustible surround — wood framing, composite panel, most prefab island kits — means this liner is required. Only fully non-combustible construction lets you skip it.

At this size it is also the single biggest thing your island has to accommodate. The liner measures 44-9/16" wide by 18-5/8" deep by 8-1/16" high overall, with an internal opening of 43" by 17-1/2" by 7-1/4" — nearly four feet of clear span that the framing has to carry around, not through. Get that on the drawings before the island is built; adding it later means cutting an island apart.

Construction is 304 stainless steel throughout, fabricated in the USA, with the gas connection hole notched out so the supply line reaches the griddle without compromising the box.

The rule that trips people up: the liner and the GFFRAME105 trim kit are alternatives, not a pair — they do not install together. Line a combustible cabinet, or trim a non-combustible one. Browse our insulating liners for the other sizes, and our built-in griddles for the griddles this fits.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to use this liner?

If the surround is combustible — wood framing, composite panel, most prefab island kits — the GFLINER105 is required, not an upgrade. Only fully non-combustible construction lets you skip it.

It is a code and safety item, so decide it before the island design is finalized rather than after.

Which griddles does it fit?

The 41-inch 105 Series models: the GFE105 and OML105.

What opening does the island need?

The liner measures 44-9/16" wide by 18-5/8" deep by 8-1/16" high overall, with an internal opening of 43" by 17-1/2" by 7-1/4". That is nearly four feet of clear span the framing has to carry around, not through.

Frame the island around the liner, not the griddle — the liner is the larger of the two.

Can I add the liner after the island is built?

Practically, no. Retrofitting a liner this size means cutting a finished island apart, so get it onto the drawings before anything is poured or framed.

Can I use the liner and the trim kit together?

No. The liner and the GFFRAME105 trim kit are alternatives, not a pair. Line a combustible cabinet, or trim a non-combustible one.

How does the gas line reach the griddle?

The gas connection hole is notched out of the liner, so the supply line reaches the griddle without anyone cutting into the box on site.

What is it built from?

304 stainless steel throughout, fabricated in the USA. It is a sealed stainless box that keeps heat off your framing.

Is anything else included?

Liner only. The griddle, its trim and any other accessories are ordered separately — the griddles this liner fits are in our built-in griddles collection.
