RCS is proud to provide the industry’s most comprehensive warranty.
All RCS American Renaissance Grills, Cutlass Pro Series Grills and Cutlass Pro Series side burners, sinks, briquette trays, as well as ALL doors and drawers are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for the lifetime of the original owner.
All RCS Premier Series Grills and Premier Series Side Burners are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for 15 years to the original owner.
All RCS Refrigeration products are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for 7 years to the original owner.
All other products carry a one-year warranty to the original owner.
This RCS warranty is effective for product sales beginning April 14th, 2025.

This warranty excludes normal surface corrosion, discoloration, surface scratches and surface rust which may occur. Improper maintenance, salt spray, chemicals, pesticides will affect the look and integrity of the components of these products. RCS will not be responsible for any damage caused as a result of not following owner’s manual instructions. This non-transferrable warranty is limited to the replacement of original (one-time) defective parts, does not include shipping and labor to remove or install replacement parts, if necessary. The owner must retain and submit their original receipt with any warranty claim to receive warranty parts. The warranty applies to the original owner only. What size cutout does the VIC2 need?
The countertop cutout is 23-1/4" wide by 17-1/4" deep by 13" high. That height is the depth the body drops below the counter, so make sure the cabinet space underneath is clear.
How much does it hold?
Interior storage is 1.67 cu. ft., with inner dimensions of 19-1/2" wide by 13-3/4" deep by 10-3/4" high. That is room for bottles and cans plus the ice around them, not just the drinks.
How much counter does the lip cover?
The finished lip measures 24-1/8" wide by 18-3/16" deep and stands 1-3/8" above the counter. It overlaps the cutout by roughly half an inch on each side, so small cutting inaccuracies stay hidden.
How do you drain it after a party?
A strainer and drain plug are included. Pull the plug to let the melt water out, rinse the bin, and it is ready for the next round.
Route the drain somewhere you are happy to send water before the cooler goes into the counter, since the plug is at the bottom of the body.
Is it insulated?
Yes, the body is insulated, which is what keeps ice solid longer between refills. An uninsulated bin sitting in a sun-exposed island loses ice much faster.
What is the lid made of?
The lid is 304 stainless steel, so it resists rust and matches the finish on the rest of an outdoor kitchen. The cooler is fully enclosed with the lid in place.
Does it need power or a water line?
No. It chills with ice you load yourself and empties through the drain plug, so the only thing the install needs is the cutout and somewhere for the water to go.
Should I get this or an outdoor refrigerator?
Choose the cooler if you want cold drinks in reach at the counter without giving up cabinet space to an appliance. It holds whatever you load before guests arrive and drains when you are done.
If you want drinks cold all week without loading ice, look at outdoor refrigerators instead. Some builds use both, and you can compare bin styles across the drop-in and pull-out ice bins.
