Finish your outdoor kitchen island with a clean, professional look using the TrueFlame 6" x 12" Island Vent Panel Masonry Frame Return (TF-IV-12M). Built from durable 304 stainless steel, this weather-resistant vent panel promotes proper airflow around built-in components while standing up to the elements and wiping clean with ease.
The panel features a 1-inch masonry return, purpose-designed for islands with stone or brick finishes so the frame sits flush against the surrounding masonry. It measures 12" wide, 6" high, and 1.25" deep and installs into a 12 1/8" W x 1 3/8" D x 6 1/8" H cutout.
Compatible with: TrueFlame branded grills and masonry outdoor kitchen islands with a horizontal 10" to 14 7/8" vent opening.

Frequently Asked Questions
What size cutout do I need for this vent panel?
Frame an opening 12 1/8" wide, 6 1/8" high and 1 3/8" deep. The panel itself measures 12" wide, 6" high and 1.25" deep, so it sits into that opening and covers the cut edge.
Set the opening while the island is being built rather than after the masonry is finished, since the cutout has to match those numbers closely for the frame to sit flat.
Does the panel mount horizontally?
Yes. At 12" wide by 6" high it is a horizontal panel, so plan the vent opening in the island wall on its long axis.
What does the 1-inch masonry return do?
It is the reason to pick this version over a plain frame. The 1-inch return is designed for islands finished in stone or brick, so the frame sits flush against the surrounding masonry instead of standing proud of the finished surface.
Why does an island need a vent panel?
It keeps air moving around the components enclosed inside the island. That is why this panel is specified for masonry islands built around TrueFlame built-in grills and similar built-in equipment.
What is it made from, and will it survive outdoors?
304 stainless steel, which is what makes it weather-resistant and easy to wipe clean. The part is model TF-IV-12M.
Let customers speak for us
I absolutely love my Coyote gas grill! The quality is excellent, it looks beautiful, and I’m very happy with my purchase.
I also want to give a special thank you to Ryan at Northwoods Grills. He was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. Before my grill even arrived, he took the time to help me with measurements and answered all of my questions to make sure everything would fit properly. He was always very attentive, patient, friendly, and easy to communicate with. His customer service really made a difference and made the whole experience so much easier for me.
It’s not often that you receive this level of personal attention and customer service. I truly appreciate all of Ryan’s help and would absolutely recommend Northwoods Grills. Great product and outstanding customer service!

Best pricing available for the product (checked all other on line retailers), and Ryan provided excellent responsiveness during the sales process. Loved dealing directly with the owner vs a sales person.
Delivery was completed within a week of the order and Ryan stayed in touch with consistent follow-up to ensure the products met my expectations.
Will recommend to friends / others looking for a high-end built in grill and matching cabinets.
