This 15-inch built-in fits a cutout of 15 5/8"W x 23 1/2"D x 34 3/8"H and measures 14.57"W x 24.9"D x 33.15"H fully assembled. Front venting lets it install flush under a counter, and an included drain hose provides gravity drainage with no pump plumbing required. Digital controls, a frost-free system, forced-air compressor cooling, and a field-reversible hinge make daily use simple.
It produces up to 50 lbs. of cubed ice daily with 25 lbs. of onboard storage, so there's always plenty on hand. UL rated for outdoor use, it's compliant for both residential and commercial settings.

How much ice does the AMD-IM-15 produce in a day?
Up to 50 lbs. of cubed ice every 24 hours.
That output is aimed at entertaining rather than a single round of drinks, so you can keep pouring through an afternoon without hauling bags from the store.
How much ice does the bin hold?
The onboard storage bin holds 25 lbs. of finished ice.
The unit keeps producing until the bin is full, so what matters for planning is how fast you empty it, not the bin size alone.
What size cutout does this ice maker need?
Build an opening of 15 5/8" W x 23 1/2" D x 34 3/8" H.
Frame the island to those numbers before the unit arrives, since a built-in this size cannot be shimmed into an undersized opening.
What are the actual dimensions of the unit?
Fully assembled it measures 14.57" W x 24.9" D x 33.15" H.
Does it need a drain pump?
No. A drain hose is included and drainage is by gravity, so there is no pump to plumb.
Your island still needs a downhill path for that hose to reach a drain or a suitable discharge point.
Can it be installed flush under a counter?
Yes. The unit vents through the front, which is what allows a flush undercounter installation with cabinetry or masonry on both sides and above.
Is it actually rated for outdoor installation?
Yes. It is UL rated for outdoor use and compliant for both residential and commercial settings.

Which way does the door swing?
The hinge is field reversible, so the door can be set to open from either side.

Does it make nugget ice?
No, this model makes cubes. If you want soft chewable ice instead, the TrueFlame 15" nugget ice maker uses the same 15 5/8" x 23 1/2" x 34 3/8" cutout.
Both fit the same opening, so the choice is about the ice, not about rebuilding the island.
