Artisan Double Side Burner Cover - Outdoor Grill Cover

A side burner is the one component in an outdoor kitchen with its cooking surface permanently facing the sky. The grill next to it closes its hood; the burner well just sits open, collecting rain, leaves and grit straight onto the ports it has to light from next time. This cover is Artisan's answer for the double unit, the ART-SB2CV, and it is cut for the ARTP-SB2 in both the NF and LP versions — the cover is matched to the burner body, and fuel type does not change that shape. Unlike Artisan's vinyl grill covers, this one is high-density canvas with an embroidered logo; canvas has more body to it and holds its shape over the burner rather than draping into the well. It is made in the USA, and it costs a small fraction of what a burner assembly does to replace.

This cover fits the Artisan Built-In Double Side Burner, model ARTP-SB2, in both the NF and LP versions. The two fuel versions are separate factory configurations of the burner — they are ordered as such, not converted in the field — but they share a body, so a single cover serves both. It does not fit a single side burner: that unit has a narrower footprint and the cover would sit loose and catch wind.

There is no cutout, clearance or hardware associated with a cover, and no island work to plan around — that was settled when the burner was installed. The cover goes on once the burner has cooled and comes off before you cook.

This is for the owner of an Artisan double side burner set flush into an island countertop — the two-burner companion unit used for sauces, sides and boiling water while the grill works.
